We've had a litter robot 3 for about 6 4 months. A few days ago it got stuck in the middle of a cycle. I didn't see it when it stopped, but it looks like it completed the first half to dump the waste then got stuck before it started rolling back to the home position. The yellow light is on solid. The buttons are completely unresponsive.

First one had no trouble with DFI for years; second one I bought refurbished and DFI went in 2 months. I replaced the DFI on first one, that lasted only 2 months. If Whisker does not get on top of this, they will lose their audience.

I cleaned the contacts and still had pinch fault. The pinch wiring feeds to the dfi board so I replaced the dfi board and pinch alarm went away. I also had the red,yellow light. (I didn't have any so I used a resistor and a potentiometer.) P.s. The litter robot sends 5v to the cat sensor and gets 0,9v back, therefore you need the 2k ohm resistor. 3: Make the pressure point where the cat sensor were placed, to a switch.
